We encourage maximum independence and choice within the home and we work closely with families to understand the needs of all our residents individually. This allows us to create care plans that are entirely personalised, incorporating each resident’s life stories, interests, likes and dislikes.
At our nursing home in Uckfield, We provide both long and short-stay care, together with respite and convalescent care. Our home offers 64 en-suite bedrooms all of which are built substantially larger than industry standards.
We have designed our Temple Grove to be as homely as possible. There are no long institutional corridors but instead, four separate wings each providing accommodation for between 12 – 14 residents. We have two wings on the ground floor and two wings at first floor level. These are designed around the large and comfortable communal areas with each floor having its own dining room and lounge. In addition, we offer a film/TV room, shop and hairdressing salon, together with further family rooms.
Ground floor rooms have direct access into the gardens, with their own dedicated patio areas. First floor rooms have large picture windows placed at a lower than average level, to allow residents to make the most of the views out into our wonderful gardens, including watching the local wildlife.
All rooms are fully furnished, complete with electric profile beds, desk, wardrobe, sitting area, flat screen televisions and wi-fi. However, the room is your home and you are free to bring as much of your own furniture as you wish.
